Lydia holds a BA in Renaissance History from the University of Warwick and an MA in Art History from the University of Sussex. She is currently based at The Warburg Institute in London and in April 2020 successfully defended her PhD thesis on The Dynamics of Artistic Patronage in Perugia 1488-1540.
